The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

As an occupational therapist and certified somatic sexologist, I address goals towards increased opportunity to participate in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as domestic or community aspects, with a focus in sexuality, intimacy and relationships. With my functional perspective, consultations with me may include goal setting, verbal assessments, problem solving, prescription of adaptive/assistive toys to aid in personal intimate satisfaction, communication (social and relational), health promotion and addressing ways to improve connection with yourself and your well-being.
I am a non-registered provider of the NDIS, therefore, am only able to see ‘plan managed’ or ‘self-managed’ NDIS participants. I am a community OT, and see clients in their homes; therefore my fees include travel costs.
***Please note: I do not do home modifications or seating & wheelchair assessments***
I assist clients with:
- Consent
- Understanding vulnerability and how to protect yourself
- Anatomy, including pleasure anatomy & education
- Self-care
- Sexual function
- Sexual health
- Communicating needs, desires, wants, respectfully and safely
- Appropriateness in relationships and boundaries
